When making a reservation online, do you charge a fee?

After submitting the booking, our staff will check the availability. You will receive instructions in an email, along with a payment link to make an online payment for your booking.
The deposit as well as other additional services/products will be paid at the time of the pick-up.

Where can I pick-up the car?

You can pick-up the car from airport or anywhere you like in Cluj.

Can I take a car if I do not have a reservation?

In order to rent a car, you must make an online reservation.
In the event you do not have a reservation, you can book a car by calling our phone numbers.

Is unlimited mileage included in the rates?

Yes, the rates include unlimited mileage.

What should I do if I lost something in the vehicle?

The company is not responsible for anything left in the rental vehicles.
However, if an item is found in a rental vehicle, it will be turned into lost and found at the rental location.

What if I made a reservation and want to upgrade once I get to the location?

When arriving at the rental location, please ask about the availability of an upgrade. If an upgrade is available we will find the rental vehicle which will best fit your needs.

What do I do in case of an accident?

First, make sure that everyone involved is okay.
If someone is injured, immediately dial 112 for help.
Second, contact the local authority in order to fill out the necessary accident report.
Third, call us to inform about the accident. The trained staff will give you further instructions.

Payment Information

Payment can be made using your personal credit/debit card, or your company's card, in a highly secure environment. The cards accepted for payments are those issued by VISA (Classic and Electron) and MASTERCARD (including Maestro, if they have a CVV2/CVC2 code on their back side).
There is no transaction fee applied.
Payment processing is done exclusively on PlatiOnline's secure servers.
Your data safety is guaranteed by the fact that PlatiOnline does not store your sensitive data, but sends them encrypted using a secure connection towards the processing bank. In this way, your transactions are perfectly safe.
Transactions are done in EUR currency, at your bank's exchange rate.
Transaction will show on your bank statement, under ID: rentacarcluj.

Cancelling and refunds policy

Once a reservation is made and it is confirmed by email, it is kept for 6 hours. During this time, customer has to make the online payment, using the link received in the confirmation email.
A paid reservation can be cancelled with a written notice sent at least 3 days ahead of the pick-up date. In such case, the payment will be refunded entirely, to the same card used for the transaction, in 10 days since we received the request.
